Terms of Service
Last updated: April 14, 2026. Plain English. Applies in every language version of the site.
Who you are buying from
You are buying from Impressify Press Co., a small company based in Chicago, Illinois, United States. When we say "Impressify," "we," or "us," we mean that company. When we say "you," we mean you, the person or company using the product.
What the product does
Impressify rewrites the copy in your pitch decks in the voice of one of six public publications, or a private "house voice" on the Team plan. The product is software-as-a-service. You upload a file, we rewrite it, we hand it back. We do not host your file long-term, we do not send it to third parties, and we do not hold copyright on the output.
Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to open an account. Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your login. If you think someone else has your credentials, write to us from the contact form and we will help you rotate them.
What you can upload
Upload decks that belong to you or that you have written permission to rewrite. Do not upload content that contains classified government material, nonconsensual images of people, or anything that would put us in a federal courtroom. If you upload something that violates this paragraph, we may delete the file, suspend your account, and refuse a refund.
What you own, what we own
You own the deck you uploaded and the rewritten deck you download. We own the underlying software, the trained voice models, and the broadsheet templates. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your material to us, and nothing transfers ownership of our product to you.
Billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars to the card on file. You can cancel at any time from your workspace; we prorate to the day. Annual billing takes two months off the Pro plan and three off the Team plan. We do not auto-renew annual subscriptions without writing to you first.
Refunds
If the product does not do what we say it does, write to us within seven days and we will refund the month. If you used up your quota and then had a change of heart, we do not refund, but we may apply the unused portion to the next month.
Uptime and interruptions
We aim for 99.5% uptime, but we are a seven-person shop. Occasionally the press stops. If a deck you paid for fails to process, the rewrite does not count against your quota and we will re-run it at our expense.
Liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product. Our total liability to you, under any theory, is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We do not warrant that the product will raise your round, close your deal, or change your board's mind.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts of Cook County, Illinois.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that affects your rights, we will write to the email address on file at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Minor wording improvements do not count as material changes.
How to reach us
All questions about these terms go through the contact form. We read every letter within a business day. We do not publish a direct email address.
