Privacy Policy

The short version
We collect the bare minimum to run an account and rewrite a deck. We delete uploaded files within 24 hours. We never train models on your content. We do not sell data to anyone, and we never will.
What we collect
We collect your name, your email address, and a hashed password when you open an account. We collect the deck you upload for the time it takes to rewrite it, plus a short retention window. We collect basic usage logs, such as page visits and feature clicks, through a privacy-respecting analytics provider that does not use third-party cookies.
What we do with it
We use your name and email to send you transactional emails (receipts, a password reset, a quota warning). We use your uploaded deck to produce the rewrite you asked for. We use usage logs to fix bugs and decide which voice to build next.
What we do not do with it
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not train machine-learning models on customer decks, and our infrastructure provider is contractually forbidden from doing so on our behalf. We do not read your decks for editorial fun; the only humans who see them are the editors who review low-confidence rewrites, and they do so under NDA.
How long we keep it
Uploaded files are deleted within 24 hours of processing. Rewrites are retained in your workspace until you delete them. Usage logs are kept for 180 days and then aggregated. Account data is retained while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of closure.
Your rights
You can export your account data, delete your account, or ask for a full list of what we hold on you at any time. Use the contact form. We will respond within 30 days. If you are a resident of the EU, the UK, California, Colorado, or Virginia, the usual statutory rights apply.
Cookies
See the cookie policy. We use a small number of first-party cookies for the app itself and a privacy-respecting analytics script on the marketing site.
Third parties we work with
Resend for transactional email. Vercel for hosting. Cloudflare for DNS. A large language model provider for the voice rewrites. Each has signed a data-processing agreement that forbids them from using your content for any purpose other than serving our product to you.
Children
Impressify is not intended for people under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a minor has opened an account, write to the desk and we will close it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that affects your rights, we will write to the email on file at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
